Effective Date: 1st April 2025
To protect both our clients and our business, the following policy applies to all websites, digital assets, and content created or managed by Back9 Creative:
1. Permitted Image Sources
Images used in any Back9 Creative project must be sourced from one of the following:
- Adobe Stock, under an active licence held either by Back9 Creative or the client.
- Client-supplied images, provided they are accompanied by a signed declaration confirming usage rights.
Back9 Creative does not permit the use of:
- Google Images, AI-generated images without licensing clarity, or social media content/screenshots
- Third-party websites unless usage rights are clearly provided
2. Client Declaration (for Supplied Images)
Clients supplying their own images must agree to the following:
“I confirm that I hold the necessary rights or have obtained appropriate licences to use the images supplied to Back9 Creative for this project. I understand that Back9 Creative will not be liable for any copyright infringement related to these images.”
A declaration via a digital form must be signed before any client-supplied imagery is published on a website or used in design.

3. Website User Access Requirements
To ensure accountability, security, and auditability:
- All users must have their own unique login for any website developed or hosted by Back9 Creative.
- Shared logins are not permitted.
- This applies to all users, including client-side team members, editors, and administrators.
- Audit logs are essential for tracking who made changes and when, and help with troubleshooting, training, and accountability.
4. Liability Disclaimer
Back9 Creative disclaims all responsibility for:
- Copyright or licensing issues related to images supplied by the client.
- Any website changes, errors, or incidents arising from client-side user actions — especially where access has not followed our unique login policy.
By engaging Back9 Creative’s services, clients agree to these terms unless otherwise stated in writing.
